Ministry of Higher Education, Strategic GIS Project
The main objective of the project is to develop an operational GIS within the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), represented by the GIS Center, with full functions, capabilities and services in order to serve the Ministry and all its units throughout the Kingdom.
- Establishing geodatabase containing digital base maps of 1/250K-scale vector maps.
- Establishing geodatabase containing satellite images of 2.5m Pan SPOT5
- Establishing MOHE GIS that consists of developing web-enabled applications using the brand new ESRI Server product ArcGIS Server.
Project duration is eight months starting in March, 2005. The professionals assigned to this new exciting project are keen on producing the state-of-the-art applications.

STC Project...
Together with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), GeoTech Co. (GTC) undertook the STC Geodatabase and GIS project in December, 2002, and successfully completed it in March, 2005. All of the tasks were completed successfully during the course of the Project, which encompassed all of Saudi Arabia. This project has resulted in the development of one of the most comprehensive well-structured and balanced geodatabases in Middle East.
Jeddah Sewage and Water Geodatabase Establishment
Through outstanding effort, our specialists completed the project within the expected time frame, without compromising the quality – as promised, as expected and as can be seen in any of the other projects of GeoTech.
